No, Jessica Alba Is Not Having Baby To Save Her Marriage

A new tabloid report claiming Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are having a baby for the sole purpose of saving their marriage is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.

The actress revealed earlier this month she and her husband of nine years are expecting their third child, and a bogus article in the National Enquirer now claims they’re bringing a baby into the world to prevent a divorce. A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “Jessica and Cash were going through a tough time, and they thought adding another little one to their brood might bring them back together.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to claim the couple started having marriage problems last year when Alba’s business, The Honest Company, was sued and accused of selling products with toxic ingredients. “Jessica was worried that she could lose the company, and was facing public humiliation,” the questionable source says. “Jess started blaming Cash for her problems, and he was furious that she was focusing more attention on her business than her family.”

The magazine’s seemingly phony insider finally contends that Warren suggested the two have another child to bring them closer together, and the actress agreed. Gossip Cop, however, is told by a reliable source close to the situation that the tabloid’s account of events is entirely “false.” We’re told the spouses were never on the verge of a breakup, nor did Alba get pregnant for the sake of fixing nonexistent marriage problems.

In fact, Gossip Cop called out the Enquirer last year when it made the similarly wrong allegation that Alba’s business problems were causing serious tension in her marriage. We also previously busted the tabloid’s sister publication, Star, when it falsely claimed Alba and Warren were attending couples therapy. There was no truth to either of those stories, and this latest one equally inaccurate.
