Megan Fox is co-starring with some “totally tubular dudes” for her latest movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the actress called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning on her way to Comic-Con to tell us all about it.
Growing up, Megan says she was a big fan of the original movies, especially the 1991 sequel, which featured Vanilla Ice and the infamous “Ninja Rap.”
“This is actually the first movie I’ve been in that I was super excited to be a part of,” she explains. “I was dancing when I found out that I got the part.”
Just two weeks into filming the action flick, Megan found out that she was pregnant with her second child. She tells us she was “super sick and nauseous and tired” and all she wanted to do was “lay under the covers and watch Bravo TV and the Housewives and I was on set all day along. I don’t kick a lot of ass in this movie, I’m sort of along for the ride, but there’s still lots of running and physical stuff that I had to do while I was pregnant.”
Ryan also had to ask the 28-year-old about some recent quotes she gave about not having enough alone time with her husband Brian Austin Green because their two children, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 5 months, sleep in bed with them.
On Wednesday’s show, Ellen K. actually texted Brian to get his side of the story (for the record: he had no comment).
“I’m sure he appreciated you texting him early in the morning,” jokes Megan. “My oldest son sleeps in the middle of us, and he’s not super happy about that. It is what it is.”
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which also stars Will Arnett and Johnny Knoxville, hits theaters on August 8!
