Niall Horan's new music is coming!

Fans won't have much longer to wait for more tunes from the "Slow Hands" singer, who has just confirmed his second studio album is done — and the first single for the LP is on its way soon.

“I’ve got an album on the way, towards the end of the year, maybe next year,” the 25-year-old told OD Entertainment during his appearance at the Soccer Aid for UNICEF event on Thursday (June 13). “I’ll have a single in a few months.”

After finally completing the project, the former One Direction star says the only thing he's looking forward to — aside from his new single — is celebrating with a fun summer.

“I’ve just come back to London for the summer cause it’s finished, and I want to enjoy myself," added Horan. "And ’cause I haven’t seen anyone, I haven’t been in the country. I need to go home to Ireland to see the family."

The musician also dished that the follow-up to his debut album, Flicker, would deviate in sound, teasing the new effort would have more rock sounds, unlike the ballads comprising his first impression. “It won’t be Flicker, it’s a little bit different. I’ll always have my ballads in there, but I’m trying to rock things up a little bit," he explained.

The forthcoming single will mark the Irish artist's first solo effort of 2019 after appearing as a featured artist on Julia Michaels' single "What a Time" earlier this year.
