Drake Teases Next Album With Cryptic Instagram Post

Drake's new album is nearly finished.

Drizzy is still dropping hints about the arrival of his impending LP, which should be landing any time now. At least he's been teasing as much recently, like on Monday (July 13) when he posted a hilarious meme about the project on Instagram.

In the post, the "God's Plan" lyricist shared an image of a vintage of painting that shows a man and a woman sitting beside each other. "Are you single?" the man asks the woman, who quips back, "No, I'm album." (Drake got jokes, y'all…)

"😎 CHEFFETE," he captioned the post, seemingly shouting out Chefette Restaurants (perhaps?), the largest fast-food restaurant chain based in the Caribbean island nation of Barbados.

At least this is what fans are theorizing in forums, whereas others believe Drake may be hinting that he'll be dropping his next record out of the blue with no promo single.

But seriously, what's with the new drop, Drizzy?

Earlier this month, the Canadian emcee teased in an Instagram Story that his follow-up to 2018's Scorpion was at least "80%" complete.

Apart from the 33-year-old priming fans for his own project, DJ Khaled also teased not one, but two collaborations with the entertainer. In a video shared on Instagram, Khaled takes to the jungle to announce the pair's new joint — one of which will be called "Pop Chune" — releasing this Friday. "2 Keys 2 Anthems DJ Khaled Feat. Drake This Friday," Khaled teased with the clip.

The last offering we received from him was back in May with the mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which featured tracks like "Chicago Freestyle" and "Toosie Slide," the latter of which sparked a viral dance challenge on TikTok.
