The Girl Scouts are More than Just Selling Cookies

Cyndi here- I got a chance to talk to Debbie Rich, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. We talked about what it means to be a Girl Scout in this day and age and how it's changed over the years. We talked about how they work to serve every girl in every community. Of course Girl Scout Cookies is a huge aspect of the Girl Scouts, but we also talked about how they work with refugees and girls who have incarcerated parents, and other at risk girls who need extra support.

It was really cool to learn the many aspects of their programs AND that they provide a lot of those services for free to girls in need.

How are they able to do that? Fundraisers like OVER THE EDGE, which is coming up March 24th. Team MY 92.9 is ready to getting ready to rappel 17 stories, but we still need help reaching our fund raising goal!
