Corey Feldman was hospitalized on Tuesday night (March 27) after the actor claimed a stranger stabbed him in the abdomen and escaped from the scene, as per a new report from TMZ.
As the 46-year-old actor recalled, he was at a traffic light in the San Fernando Valley with a security guard when three men approached the vehicle. While his security guard shined a flashlight at the trio, a man in another vehicle pulled up, stabbed Feldman with something "long and sharp" and fled the scene. Feldman admitted that he believes the attacker had been following him. "IM IN THE HOSPITAL! I WAS ATTACKED 2NITE!" he wrote on Twitter to accompany photos of him in the hospital. "A MAN OPENED MY CAR DOOR & STABBED ME W SOMETHING! PLEASE SAY PRAYERS 4 US! THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY MYSELF & MY SECURITY IN THE CAR, WHEN 3 MEN APPROACHED! WHILE SECURITY WAS DISTRACTED, W A GUY A CAR PULLED UP & ATTACKED! I'M OK!"
Feldman was rushed to the hospital after the attack, which is when the LAPD learned of the incident. Here's the kicker to the whole story. While an LAPD watch commander initially told CBS2 that Feldman had suffered a minor stab wound to his abdomen, additional law enforcement sources told TMZ that there is no evidence of a laceration. Meanwhile, Feldman said that he thinks he knows who is responsible for the crime. He also said that he's been getting online threats from some groups of people he has referred to as the "Wolfpack."
