6.5 Million Pounds Of Beef Recalled

There has been an update on the beef recall.

An Arizona-based company has recalled more than 6.5 million pounds of raw beef products over concerns with it being contaminated with salmonella.

JBS Tolleson, Inc. distributed the products nationwide.

The raw items were packaged between July 26th and September 7th.

They all have the EST.267 inside the USDA inspection.

Health officials were notified for the first time about the illnesses being linked to salmonella on September 5th.

Using receipts and shopper card numbers, investigators traced the source of the illness back to the products.

Around 57 patients were found sick between the dates of August 5th and September 6th.

If you have any of these products, you are strongly urged to get rid of them or return them back to the store!
