TUCSON- From Tucson, Arizona to Hollywood, California, a local singer is making his dreams come true on NBC’s “The Voice.”
Kalvin Jarvis auditioned at the Casino Del Sol nearly a year ago hoping to secure a spot into the next round.
On Monday, March 18thhe got his opportunity to sing for the judges.
Jarvis sang “A Good Night” by John Legend, landing him a spot on Team Adam.
“I guess I’m hoping to establish a solid career out of it,” Kalvin Jarvis said. “To be able to support myself and my family, eventually, by doing what it is I love to do which is singing. So, I’m gonna ride this thing until the wheels fall off. We’re gonna see what happens.”
Jarvis said he got his love of music from his parents. He said his mom sang him lullabies and his dad always listened to the radio extra loud.
