Memorial Day weekend events in Tucson

It's a three day weekend and if you are in-town and looking for some things to do check out the list below including events on Monday/Memorial Day honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

All weekend starting Friday:

Old Tucson- FREE admission for kids 11 and under all weekend long! They will have kids games with prizes and pie eating contests in addition to their signature entertainment.

Women’s Softball- Friday, 4:00pm Saturday 5:00pm and Sunday 5:00pm NCAA Super Regionals at the University of Arizona Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium

Monday: Memorial Day

Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony and Indoor Concert

AMERICAN LEGION POST 102 AND AMVETS 770 TO HOST 46TH MEMORIAL DAY PARADE AND CEREMONY “Forever In Our Hearts And Minds” is the theme of this year’s Memorial Day parade and ceremony being held on Monday, May 27, 2019. The parade will begin at 8:00 AM at the Tucson Estates, located 1.5 miles north of Ajo Way at Kinney Road.

Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery Hosts Free Memorial Day Service to Honor American Heros 9am-11am

The service will feature a Walk of Honor ceremony, invocation, a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, singing of the National Anthem, multiple readings, roll call and a wreath-laying ceremony.

Memorial Day concert at Reid park 7pm-9m

The Tucson Pops Orchestra, comprised mostly of Tucson Symphony Orchestra players, takes the stage Sunday at Reid Park's DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center, East 22nd Street and South Country Club Road. Admission is free to both concerts.
