UAPD Officer Helps 4-Year-Old Walk Down Tumamoc After Being Scared

LISTEN UP TUCSON!

A Tucson mother is expressing her gratitude after a University of Arizona Police Department officer helped her 4-year-old walk down Tumamoc Hill.

According to a Facebook post, Ofc. Andrew Valenzuela was responding to a routine call for service on the hill when he came across Liam and his family. The 4-year-old was “a little scared” being up so high, according to UAPD. The boy then asked Valenzuela to hold his hand as they walked down the hill together.

"Officer Valenzuela went above and beyond to show his dedication to service. We are proud to have him as a member of our team. Thank you for all you do!" wrote UAPD.
